Frequently Asked Tech Questions:

How can I direct the program to open reports in a word processor of my choice?
The program is set to automatically locate and allow you to review and edit your report in Microsoft™ Word; if you have an alternate word processor, you will have to manually link it to the program. Please find instructions below to open reports in your word processor.

Click on System Administrator icon, then on Set Preferences tab.
On left side of screen, click Editor tab.
Click locate Editor tab under command box which now says DEFAULTWP.
In the center scroll box (currently highlighted CM3), double click c:\
This drop down list represents all the programs in your computer; click on the folder which contains your word processor.
Click on the .exe file when it appears in the left scroll box.
You will be returned to the previous screen; instead of DEFAULTWP, a new path name will appear.
Click the Exit tab on the left.

If you are having problems with the above, just type in DEFAULTWP in the command box and you will be returned to WORDPAD.

If you cannot find the folder containing your word processor, you can click the Windows Start button on the lower left of the screen, click on find, and type the .exe command for your word processor in the command box. This will tell you in which file to find the word processor.
